Story Behind the Song: My Canberra (Symphony No.2) in 4 movements was commissioned by the Canberra Youth Orchestra to celebrate the centenary of Canberra, the capital of Australia. It was premieres on 30th November 2013 at The Llewelyn Hall, School of Music, Australian National University.
'First Time I Saw You' is the 1st movement of the symphony.
